Perimenopause, menopausal transition, Wisdom Stage — whatever you choose to call it, something is unfolding. A new version of you that is much bigger than the physical shifts you are experiencing.

Rooted in the wisdom traditions of Yoga and Ayurveda, Sage Passage is a 6-month weekly mentorship where you will design the most fulfilling life and learn the most important practices for balanced physical, hormonal, and emotional health.

Four Pillars of the Wisdom Stage

This new WISDOM STAGE is time for celebration.

These aren’t just physical and hormonal shifts you are experiencing.  Something is brewing.  Yes it is a time to strengthen your physical and endocrine health.  But it is also a time of deep connection to Spirit.  An opening to deepen your intuition.  A time for deeper clarity. A deep knowing of your purpose, direction and power. 

Menopause is not a disease.

You’re experiencing a period of hormonal volatility and you’ve experienced hormonal volatility before.  Puberty transitioned you to adulthood.  The menopausal transition is transitioning you to the stage of wisdom.  It is a time that requires you to explore new ways of self-care that respond to the changing needs of your body and mind at this stage of life.

Healing the root cause helps your immediate symptoms and strengthens you for the next stage of life.

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) can help some women, but it isn’t for every woman and simply doesn't address the root causes of why you’re experiencing discomfort. Circadian Medicine.  Nutrition.  Ayurvedic Self-Care Practices.  Exploring holistic solutions helps you simultaneously deal with discomfort AND teaches a new self-care routine for the Wisdom Stage.

When you get the toxins out of the way, your body and mind are better able to connect their natural wisdom and intelligence.

One of Ayurveda’s most profound gifts to us is helping us remove toxins from our bodies safely.  If we dig deeply into Ayurvedic wisdom on protecting ourselves from stealth pathogens, internal and external toxic exposure, we open the door for unimaginable levels of healing.

Healing in community is infinitely more powerful.

Like a set of wooden blocks, there is an infinite number of possibilities for new creations to take place.  That’s what happens when you heal in community.  You are presented with new options.  Another person’s epiphany becomes the catalyst for your epiphany.  The group becomes the incubator, the greenhouse for new insights.

  • Set your own goals and use the six-month program to move the needle or move mountains to help you achieve those goals.
     

  • Learn to know yourself deeply, end comparisons with others and embrace your unique path that no one else can live.

  • A well-facilitated group, your wisdom circle will help you hold your vision.
     

  • Facilitated online group platform to ask questions, receive and offer support.
     

  • For those in Los Angeles, we’ll have optional hikes so we can meet in-person.

Self-Care Rhythm 
  • Create a rhythm and routine for self-care that creates the best environment for optimum hormonal, bone, digestive and cognitive health.

Fall and Spring Cleanse
  • Experience a group cleanse during the fall and spring season.  According to Ayurveda, fall and spring are the most optimal seasons for experiencing a cleanse.
     

  • Rita will support you to individualize your cleanse.  You’ll learn about several different cleanses and Rita will help you select the best cleanse for your type.

Weekly Modules
  • Explore special topics essential for women in the wisdom stage.  Classes will be led by Rita, along with a few special guests.
     

  • Weekly check-ins to keep yourself on track with your health and life purpose goals.

Intuition Development
  • In the wisdom stage, one of the most important goals is to build your inner knowing. 
     

  • 1-2 virtual live practices per month to support the development of your intuition
     

  • Online, pre-recorded practices that deepen your intuition, accessible to you at any time.

Two decades of
healing the whole person.

Rita Antigua Burgos is guided by the belief that the Divine has blessed every stage of life with a purpose. Rita's work focuses on supporting women in the menopausal transition to cultivate health, peace, clarity and wisdom. She is inspired to work with women in the wisdom stage because when this group is balanced, they become the epicenter for balanced families and communities.

She integrates her prior work in the fields of trauma recovery, somatic counseling and Ayurveda. Her years of training in these complementary modalities have helped her to create a safe place for clients to heal from physical challenges and emotional trauma. With two decades of experience in the healing arts, she holds space for clients, deeply listening to their needs to offer appropriate, individualized solutions.

Most importantly, she is married to a deeply supportive husband, Amos. Together, they have raised children for 30 years and are looking forward to their lives in the Wisdom Stage.
