Rebounding on the Trampoline - It really is good for you!

Just these last two weeks, a common challenge coming up for clients has been clients who struggle with finding time for exercise. Their bodies feel weighed down, experiencing sluggish circulation with some having excess weight. For many of them, I encouraged them to start rebounding.

  • Boosts lymphatic drainage and immune function

  • Great for skeletal system and increasing bone mass

  • More than twice as effective as running without the extra stress on the ankles and knees

  • Increases endurance on a cellular level by stimulating mitochondrial production (these are responsible for cell energy)

  • Helps improve balance by stimulating the vestibule in the middle ear

  • Helps improve the effects of other exercise- one study found that those who rebounded for 30 seconds between weight lifting sets saw 25% more improvement after 12 weeks than those who did not.

  • Rebounding helps circulate oxygen throughout the body to increase energy.

  • Rebounding is a whole body exercise that improves muscle tone throughout the body.

  • Some sources claim that the unique motion of rebounding can also help support the thyroid and adrenals.

If you're trying to integrate exercise into your life, it's important to set yourself up for success. Scheduling time on a trampoline is not only good for you, but it's an accessible way to exercise that has a higher chance of success. I've found that clients who struggle with going to the gym are often successful with rebounding on a trampoline for 15 minutes per day.

Exercising for a few minutes several times a week is far more beneficial for your health than a really intense workout once or twice a month. Achieving small, more manageable goals like jumping on the rebounder 15 minutes a day will not only improve your health, it will also boost your confidence. You can end every session with this accomplished feeling, which can increase your will to start working on the next set of changes.

With a small investment in a mini-trampoline, you can detoxify, support bone health and muscle tone, increase circulation in the body, and have fun.
